As of the morning of September 25, Ukraine harvested 39.184 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 10.217 mln ha (70% of the plan). The average yield totaled 3.83 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 124 thsd ha (68%), and produced 141 thsd tonnes of the grain. The average yield totaled 1.14 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested 68 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 47 thsd ha (82%), with the yield at 1.46 t/ha.
Agricultural producers started harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 1.377 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 331 thsd ha (7%), with the yield at 4.16 t/ha.
In addition, Ukraine harvested 5.344 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 2.898 mln ha (49%), with the average yield at 1.84 t/ha. The production volumes of soybeans reached 1.051 mln tonnes, the yield - 1.73 t/ha, and the harvested areas - 608 thsd ha (31%).
Also, Ukrainian agrarians planted winter grains for the harvest-2018 throughout 2.516 mln ha (35% of the plan). In particular, the planted areas under winter wheat totaled 2.383 mln ha (39%), winter barley - 60 thsd ha (6%), and rye - 73 thsd ha (46%). Agrarians already planted winter rapeseed throughout 783 thsd ha (101%).
