As of June 17, Ukraine harvested over 300 thsd tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
According to operative data as of June 17, Ukraine harvested 308.4 thsd tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 113.6 thsd ha, or 1% of the planned areas including the Crimea, with the average yield of 2.72 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. On the same date in 2013 Ukraine harvested 178 thsd tonnes of grains throughout 79 thsd ha, with the yield of 2.24 t/ha.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 1.3 thsd ha. The produced volumes totaled 2.7 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.07 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 112.3 thsd ha. The produced volumes reached 305.7 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.72 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 0.5 thsd ha, the volumes – 0.7 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.3 t/ha.
