As of July 1, Ukraine harvested over 2.4 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
According to operative data of as of July 1, Ukraine harvested 2.475 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 891 thsd ha, or 9% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 2.78 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on July 1, 2013, agrarians harvested 5.548 mln tonnes of grains throughout 2.174 mln ha, with the average yield of 2.55 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 227 thsd ha. The produced volumes totaled 620 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.72 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 655 thsd ha. The produced volumes reached 1.841 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.81 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 15 thsd tonnes of peas throughout 8 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.81 t/ha.
Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 112 thsd ha, the volumes – 186 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.66 t/ha.
