As of August 11, Ukraine harvested over 33 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
According to operative data as of August 11, Ukraine harvested 33.764 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 9.347 mln ha, or 96% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.61 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on August 11, 2013, agrarians harvested 31.487 mln tonnes of grains throughout 9.98 mln ha, with the average yield of 3.15 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 5.866 mln ha. The produced volumes totaled 23.348 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.98 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 2.959 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 9.12 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.08 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested rye throughout 168 thsd ha, the produced volumes reached 429 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.56 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 489 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 198 thsd ha, with the average yield of 2.48 t/ha.
Agrarians produced 368 thsd tonnes of peas, with the yield of 2.43 t/ha. The harvested areas reached 151 thsd ha.
Ukrainian agrarians continued harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 859 thsd ha, the volumes – 2.119 mln tonnes, the average yield – 2.47 t/ha.
