Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved the company's request by VTB Capital Asset Management to acquire a 100% of shares of agrocomplex Yuzhniy,- according to Vedomosti.ru

This company owns the largest greenhouse complex in Europe. The complex is located in Karachay-Cherkessia and occupies approximately 144 hectares. Engaged in the cultivation of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. One of the largest producers of roses on a slice in Russia.

In March agrocomplex Yuzhniy along with several other companies (total value of all assets - 29.5 bln RUR) that are to be acquired by VTB subsidiary were integrated to the authorized capital of the United Energy Company (its owner - Moscow mayor's office).

According to Head of the Property Department of Moscow, Vladimir Efimov, the assets were included to the medium-term program of privatization, but were not sold due to lack of demand. Therefore they were integrated to UNECO to get funds on core business development.
