EBRD to finance Ukrainian agribusiness to the sum 200-250 mln euros
Mr. Sevki Adzhuner, the EBRD Director in Ukraine, during the 6th International Forum of Adam Smith conference "Agribusiness in Ukraine" stated that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2014 is to allocate to the Ukrainian agricultural companies of 200-250 mln euros,- according to UNIAN correspondent
"We will provide 1 bln euros to Ukraine this year. I expect that, together with other banks, we are to give 200-250 mln from this sum to agro-enterprises, "- said Adzhuner.
At that, he noted that the bank intends to finance not only the manufacturers of agricultural raw materials, but also its processors.
As UNIAN reported earlier EBRD announced plans to increase investment in Ukraine up to 1 bln euros per year over the next few years, including 550-750 miln euros provided earlier.
Reference. EBRD is one of the largest investors and creditors of Ukraine, participant of a wide range of projects in both the public and private sector in Ukraine. In 2013, the Bank has financed in total 32 projects in the country to the sum 820 mln euros (more than $ 1 bln), that is 0.2 bln less than in 2012.
