Ukraine-Russia goods turnover 25% down in first two months of 2014
Trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia in January-February fell by 25%, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Pavlo Sheremeta told a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday.
"There is a decline. I do not know whether a quarter seriously or not. We believe that it is not our fault," the minister said.
According to him, trade is mutually beneficial, and the Russian Federation is losing from that too. "Now I have a dream that we move from mutually unprofitable things, quickly solving important and controversial issues, to mutually beneficial things that is trade," Sheremeta said.
