Ukraine: Verkhovna Rada registered the draft law proposing the export duties on soybeans
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered the draft law #4693, which proposed to impose the export duties on soybeans at the level of 15% of the customs commodity cost. Vitaliy Nemilostivyi, People's Deputy of Ukraine (non-affiliated), is the author of the document.
According to the draft law, the export duty rate should be not less than 35 EUR per unit.
According to the explanatory memorandum to the draft law, the need to adopt the draft law is driven by demand to increase revenues to the state budget of Ukraine through launching of soybean processing capacities with high added value at the customs territory of the country.
