Ukraine: cancellation of tax benefits for agrarians can make the industry unprofitable – L.Kozachenko
In the case of adoption of the draft law "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and some other legislative acts of Ukraine" (registration number 4309a) by the Verkhovna Rada, the agricultural industry of the country may become unprofitable, declared Leonid Kozachenko, President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, on July 22.
According to him, last season grain production showed rather low profitability indices, and adoption of the reporting draft law can make grain growing unprofitable.
L.Kozachenko explained that reforming of the tax system should be realized in gradual mode, with discussing of the issue with experts and key players of the market.
