The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the candidacy of Oleksiy Pavlenko as the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food. On December 2, 288 people`s deputies voted "for" the appropriate decision during batch voting of the new government of Ukraine.
In the new Government, Aivaras Abromavičius became the Minister of Economy and Trade, Natalie Jaresko – the Minister of Finance, Andriy Pyvovarsky - the Minister of Infrastructure.
O.Pavlenko candidacy was proposed by the party Samopomich. Previously, he led the network of appliance stores Foxtrot, and headed one of the largest agricultural holdings Rise. O.Pavlenko is a partner of the investment fund Pharus Assets Management.
