The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia considers necessary to reduce or completely zero the existing customs duties on wheat exports, declared the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Gromyko on December 21.

According to him, to date the domestic prices for wheat in Russia do not lag behind the world prices at all. To current world trend is quite bearish, due to saturation of the world market. Therefore, the Ministry plans to solve the issue of customs export duties.

At the same time, E.Gromyko specified that the Government of Russia will consider the issue in January 2016.
