Ukraine to start wheat trading from the Agrarian Fund on January 22
On January 22, 2013, the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine will realize selling of 300 thsd tonnes of 2- and 3-grade wheat on the trading platform of the Agrarian Exchange, reported on the official web-site of the Exchange.
According to the decree of the Director of the Agrarian Exchange #133-OD dd. December 26, 2012: the price change for the commodity unit is set at 8 UAH; the size of the collateral guarantee is set at 5% of the general sum of the invoiced application, which is subject to transfer to the auction participants, except of the Agrarian Fund, at the expense of the Agrarian Exchange no later than 5 working days in advance.
In order to take part in the auction, it is necessary to sign the appointment agreement with a member of the Exchange, to make guarantee provision at the account of the Exchange.
As a reminder, on December 20 Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, said that the Agrarian Fund plans to sell 300 thsd tonnes of wheat to grain traders with the possibility of further exports.
On December 26, Ivan Bisyuk, First Deputy Head of the Ministry, reported on December 26 that the minimum price of the grain will total 2100 UAH/t.
