Since the beginning of 2012/2013 MY Ukraine exported 14.5 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

According to the operative data, since the beginning of 2012/2013 MY, and as of January 3, Ukraine already exported 14.5 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, the country exported 5.9 mln tonnes of wheat, 6.3 mln tonnes of maize and 1.8 mln tonnes of barley.

According to data of the Ministry, in December 2012 the export volumes of maize increased by 20% compared with the previous month, and totaled 2 mln tonnes from the general volumes of grains exported in December (2.4 mln tonnes).
