Ukraine: 12% of winter crops areas are in underdeveloped condition - Hydrometeorological Center
In Ukraine, as of January 8, 2013, nearly 12% of winter crops areas showed underdeveloped condition of development, declared Nikolai Kulbida, Director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to him, the index varies within the average statistical ranges. The worst condition of winter crops is observed in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where the areas with poor condition of winter crops exceeded the level of 40%.
There is no much anxiety about the winter crops condition, concluded N.Kulbida.
