During the first half of 2012/13 MY, Russia already exported nearly 13 mln tonnes of grains
Since the beginning of 2012/13 MY (July 1), and as of December 26, 2012, Russia already supplied 12.933 mln tonnes of grains on the world market, announced the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on January 9.
In particular, during December 1-26, Russia exported 972.2 thsd tonnes of grains, including 629.2 thsd tonnes of wheat, 88.9 thsd tonnes of barley, 211.4 thsd tonnes of maize and 42.7 thsd tonnes of other grain crops.
As a reminder, according to the forecast of the Ministry, the export potential of grains from the Russian Federation in the current season is estimated at 15.5 mln tonnes.
