Until the end of 2012/13 MY Russia may produce 2.3 mln tonnes of sunflower oil

According to data of APK-Inform Agency, in November 2012 the production of sunflower oil in Russia totaled 333 thsd tonnes, a decrease of 5% compared with the production in the previous month.

During 3 months of the current season, Russia produced over 900 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil. Taking into account the forecast of production (3.2 mln tonnes), in the remaining 9 months of the season Russia can produce additional 2.3 mln tonnes of the product, or nearly 250 thsd tonnes per month.
