Ukraine: in 2012 the volume of agricultural production decreased by 4.5% - State Statistics Service

In 2012 Ukraine registered the decline of the agricultural production volumes - to the level of 95.5% compared with the same index in 2011, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on January 14.

According to the announcement, last year the specified index in the agricultural enterprises decreased to 93.5%, in households of the population - to 97.6% compared with the 2011 result.

Reduction of the production volumes in the plant growing industry of Ukraine in 2012 totaled 8.2%. In particular, the volume of plant growing production in the agricultural enterprises decreased by 11.8%, in households of the population - down 3.9%.
