Ukraine: in 2012 Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 2.229 mln tonnes of grains
In 2012, the cargo flow of Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk totaled 14.514 mln tonnes, an increase of 14 thsd tonnes compared with the planned index, reported the official website of the port.
According to the announcement, the port increased its cargo shipment volumes by 984 thsd tonnes compared with 2011.
In particular, in 2012 the company processed 5.368 mln tonnes of general cargoes, 1.656 mln tonnes of liquid bulk and 7.49 mln tonnes of bulk cargoes.
Sunflower oil (1.564 mln tonnes), grains (2.229 mln tonnes), ore (2.612 mln tonnes), cast iron (1.721 mln tonnes), and sulfur (1.375 mln tonnes) formed the largest share in the types of cargo shipment.
Last year, the port processed 156`342 rail cars and 1677 vessels.
