Kyrgyzstan: in 2013 the planted areas to total 1.178 mln ha – Ministry of Agriculture
In 2013 the planted areas of agricultural crops in Kyrgyzstan will total 1.178 mln ha, declared Chyngysbek Uzakbaev, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic, on January 24.
In the current year the planted areas for grains will total 639.6 thsd ha, including 359 thsd ha of wheat, 86.4 thsd ha of maize. Besides, sugar beet areas - 7.9 thsd ha, and feed crops - 312.7 thsd ha.
