Russia produced record volumes of soybean oil in December 2012
According to the official data in December 2012 Russia produced the maximum volumes of crude soybean oil – 37.4 thsd tonnes (+26% or 7.8 thsd tonnes compared to November 2012).
The increase was provided by three Federal Districts – Far Eastern (increase by 2.1 times or 2.8 thsd tonnes), Central (grew by 2.2 times or 2.7 thsd tonnes) and Southern (3.3 times – 2.2 thsd tonnes). Meanwhile the leader of the previous month is the Northern-Western Federal District faced the production decrease (-4% or 746 tonnes), so its share in the total volumes decreased to 51% as opposed to 67% in the previous month.
