Bulgaria harvested 654 thsd tonnes of barley
According to the data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria, in 2012 the country harvested 654 thsd tonnes of barley as opposed to the last year rate. As for the grain exports, it was at the level of 297 thsd tonnes, meanwhile 87 thsd tonnes were supplied to the EU countries.
Domestic consumption totaled 220 thsd tonnes, and as of to date to the new crop the country will consume nearly 180 thsd tonnes, so there are no any free volumes for exports.
