Ukraine exported 15.9 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
In the current marketing year, and as of January 28, 2013, the volume of grain exports from Ukraine already reached 15.9 mln tonnes, up 42% of the last year rate, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of 2013 Ukraine exported 1.69 mln tonnes of grains, including 172.8 thsd tonnes of wheat, 142.6 thsd tonnes of barley and 1.33 mln tonnes of maize.
In particular, as of January 28 Ukraine exported 5.99 mln tonnes of wheat. Barley exports from Ukraine totaled 1.98 mln tonnes, maize - 7.68 mln tonnes.
Remind, according to the forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in 2012/13 MY grain exports from Ukraine will total nearly 23 mln tonnes.
