In order to provide exports of grain at 15-20 mln tonnes Russia needs to increase general production – Ministry of Agriculture
In 2013/14 MY Russia should supply on the foreign markets nearly 15-20 mln tonnes of grains, declared Petr Chekmarev, Director of the Department of crop production, chemization and plant protection of the Ministry of Agriculture.
We should provide the export potential of 15 or even 20 mln tonnes. Otherwise our country will be replaced by our competitors on the exports markets, and we will have to force through them, underlined P.Chekmarev.
He added, that in order to reach the stated rate, in 2013 Russia should harvest nearly 95 mln tonnes of grains.
