On January 29, Russia did not present rye for intervention sales

Despite the preliminary plan of the regular exchange trading provision with intervention grains in the Russian Federation, on January 29 rye was not presented for sale.

The intervention fund put up 62.228 thsd tonnes of wheat for exchange commodity trading, and sold 58.725 thsd tonnes at the general sum of 512.8 mln RUR. In particular, trading volume of transactions included 28.215 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2008 at the sum of 249.1 mln RUR, 19.845 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2009 at the sum of 161.9 mln RUR, 2.565 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2011 at the sum of 25.9 mln RUR, 2.025 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2008 at the sum of 19.1 mln RUR, and 6.075 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2011 at the sum of 56.8 mln RUR.

The weighted average prices of the grains sold from the intervention fund were as follows:

- 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2008 – 8264.7 RUR/t;

- 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2009 – 8381.8 RUR/t,

- 3-grade wheat of the harvest-2011 – 9357.6 RUR/t,

- 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2008 – 8351.4 RUR/t;

- 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2009 – 7947.4 RUR/t;

- 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2011 – 9360.1 RUR/t.

As of the reporting date, there were already accredited 313 participants from Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Volgograd, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Kemerovo, Kirov, Kurgan Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Moscow, Murmansk, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tomsk, Tula, Tyumen, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl oblasts; Altai, Transbaikalia, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Stavropol and Khabarovsk Krais; the Republics of Bashkortostan, Karelia, Mordovia, Mari El, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Udmurtia, Moscow and St. Petersburg cities of the Russian Federation to participate in the exchange trades with grains under the public commodity interventions.

32 agricultural organizations became the winners of the exchange trading, with which JSC United Grain Company will conclude sale and purchase contracts.

Since the beginning of the public commodity interventions in 2012, the public intervention fund already sold 1.507 mln tonnes of grains on the stock exchange at the general sum of 12.54 bln RUR.
