Ukraine: in 2013 Agrarian Fund increased intervention grain supplies
In accordance with the decision of the Government of Ukraine, in 2013 the Agrarian Fund continues to provide grain processing of the State Intervention Fund and flour supply for baking enterprises, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on January 29.
As it is informed in 2013 monthly supplies of wheat and rye flour for baking enterprises increased by 40% - to 66 thsd tonnes as opposed to 10.8 thsd tonnes year before.
Intervention Fund flour is being supplied at the stable prices, in particular high grade flour – at 2896 UAH/tonne, down 10% of the market average price (3200 UAH/tonnes), meanwhile in some regions the prices ratio is 17% less.
