Russia: wheat exports to total nearly 400 thsd tonnes in the second half of 2012/13 MY
According to the forecast of APK-Inform Agency, in 2012/13 MY Russian wheat exports potential is estimated at the level of 10.3 mln tonnes as opposed to 21.2 mln tonnes in the previous MY. In the period of July-December 2012 Russia exported nearly 9.9 mln tonnes of wheat.
Thus, considering the exports forecast in the second half of the season Russia will supply nearly 400 thsd tonnes on the foreign markets. At the same time note in winter months the exports will slow, meanwhile the activation of the grain trade will resume in the spring field works eve.
