EU is the largest importer of Ukrainian grain – N.Prysyazhnyuk
In 2012 Ukraine supplies on the European market nearly 7.7 mln tonnes of grain declared Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. According to him, the export volumes of agricultural commodities formed the sum of 1.9 bln USD.
The second largest buyer of Ukrainian grain is Egypt purchased 5.5 mln tonnes of grain which formed the sum of 1.4 bln USD. The third largest buyer is Saudi Arabia which imported nearly 1.9 mln tonnes of grain – 509 bln USD.
According to the Head of the Ministry in 2013 Ukraine is going to widen sales markets of grain and increase its exports.
