Ukraine exported 16.3 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
In the current marketing year, and as of February 1, 2013, the volume of grain exports from Ukraine already reached 16.3 mln tonnes, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of February 1 Ukraine exported 6.14 mln tonnes of wheat. Barley exports from Ukraine totaled 1.98 mln tonnes, maize - 7.89 mln tonnes.
In January 2013 Ukraine exported 176 thsd tonnes of wheat as opposed to 337 thsd tonnes in December 2012.
Remind, according to the forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in 2012/13 MY grain exports from Ukraine will total nearly 23 mln tonnes.
