Ukraine increased maize exports in 2012/13 MY – N.Prysyazhnyuk
Since the beginning of 2012/13 MY and as of February 3, 2013 Ukraine exported nearly 7.95 mln tonnes of maize declared Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the official, the stated rate faces an increase of 1.4 mln tonnes (21.5%) in comparison with the last year result.
The Minister reminded that Ukraine takes the fourth line in the list of the largest exporters of maize (12.9% of the world exports).
