Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy raises the forecast of possible wheat exports in 2012/13 MY to 6.3 mln tonnes
In the current MY Ukraine can export 6.3 mln tonnes of wheat, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food on February 8.
Taking into account the stocks of wheat, which already arrived at grain storehouses, the condition of winter crops areas for the harvest-2013, the approximate volume of wheat exports was increased to 6.3 mln tonnes, which is the balanced approach to formation of the domestic resources, and is not the threat the food security of Ukraine, the announcement said.
In the previous week, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy estimated the export potential of wheat in 2012/13 MY at 6.1 mln tonnes.
