In 2012/13 MY Russia exported 13.6 mln tonnes of grains — Ministry of Agriculture
Since June 1, 2012, and as of February 6, 2013, Russia already exported 13.625 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on February 11, referring to data of the Federal Customs Service.
According to the department, the rates of grain exports are lower compared with last year, when during the same period Russia exported 19.661 mln tonnes.
During February 1-6, 2013, Russia supplied 113 thsd tonnes of grains on the world market, including 36 thsd tonnes of wheat, 20 thsd tonnes of barley, 56 thsd tonnes of maize and 1 thsd tonnes of other crops.
The Ministry of Agriculture forecasts that in the reporting season the general grain exports may reach 14.8 mln tonnes.
