Since beginning of 2012/13 MY, Ukraine exported 16.9 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of the current MY, and as of February 12, Ukraine already supplied 16.9 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, declared the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on February 14.
According to the announcement, in particular Ukraine exported 6.3 mln tonnes of wheat (including 5.4 mln tonnes of milling wheat), 8.3 mln tonnes of maize and 1.98 mln tonnes of barley.
As of the reporting date, the port elevators stocked 1.3 mln tonnes of grains, including 157 thsd tonnes of wheat, at the vessels - 89 thsd tonnes.
As a reminder, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasts, in the current year Ukraine will be able to supply nearly 23.4 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
