Ukraine: 91.4% of winter crops sprouts showed good and satisfactory condition - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

As of February 15, 2013, the condition of 91.4% of winter crops sprouts were estimated as good and satisfactory in Ukraine, declared the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to the announcement, agrarians planned to plant early spring grains throughout the areas of 3 mln ha, but the general planned areas for planting of spring grains is forecasted at the level of 8.1 mln ha.

As a reminder, according to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine planted winter crops throughout 8.1 mln ha.
