Since the beginning of 2012/13 MY Russia already exported nearly 13.7 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agriculture
Since the beginning of the current season (July 1), and as of February 13, 2013, the volume of grain exports from Russia already reached the level of 13.69 mln tonnes, against 20 mln tonnes for the same date in 2012, announced the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on February 18, with reference to real-time data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
The report also noted that in the period of February 1-13, the Russian grain exports totaled 178 thsd tonnes, including 57 thsd tonnes of wheat, 89 thsd tonnes of maize, 28 thsd tonnes of barley and 4 thsd tonnes of other grain crops.
As a reminder, in 2012/13 MY the Ministry of Agriculture estimated the general volume of grain exports from Russia at 14.8 mln tonnes.
