Azerbaijan: in January 2013 the increase of agricultural commodities production totaled 4.5%
In January 2013 the volume of agricultural commodities production in Azerbaijan totaled 187.5 mln AZN, an increase of 4.5% compared with January 2012, reported the State Statistics Committee.
The growth of plant growing commodities production in January totaled 4.9%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2013 the expected harvesting areas of spring crops total 997.4 thsd ha, including 690.5 thsd ha or 69.2% for wheat, 306.9 thsd ha or 30.8% for barley.
The official exchange rate as of February 21 totaled 0.7847 AZN / 1 USD.
