Russia: Ministry of Agriculture plans to set zero duty on grain imports until July 1, 2013 – N.Fedorov
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia offers to set the duration of the zero duty on grain imports to the country until July 1, 2013, announced Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, on February 20.
He added that to date all required documents on the matter are under consideration of the subcommittee on customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation, protective measures in foreign trade of the Government of Russia. The issue is expected to complete in the following 1-2 weeks, followed by introduction of the matter to the Eurasian Economic Commission for the further harmonization with representatives of Kazakhstan and Belarus.
