Ukraine: in October-December of 2012 the agricultural holding "Kernel" reduced production of refined oil by 31.7% - to 33.78 thsd tonnes

In the II quarter of 2013 FY the agricultural holding "Kernel" reduced the production of refined sunflower oil by 31.7% compared with the same period of FY 2012 - to 33.78 thsd tonnes, declared the press-service of the company on January 18.

According to the announcement, the production of bottled sunflower oil in the period decreased by 31.1% - to 30.77 thsd tonnes.

Thus, in October-December of 2012 the sales of bulk sunflower oil rose to 382.68 thsd tonnes, as opposed to 229.95 thsd tonnes in the same period of the previous FY, bottled oil - to 33.76 thsd tonnes, against 47 thsd tonnes.

By the end of December 2012 the passing capacity of the export terminals increased by over 2.6 times - to 1.22 mln tonnes.

As of December 31, 2012, the company harvested 1.624 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds, down 9.5% compared with the same date in 2011.
