Since beginning of 2012/13 MY Ukraine already exported 17.3 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

Since the beginning of the current MY, and as of February 21, 2013, Ukraine already supplied 17.3 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on February 22.

In particular, during the period Ukraine exported 6.2 mln tonnes of wheat (including milling wheat - 5.2 mln tonnes), 8.9 mln tonnes of maize and nearly 2 mln tonnes of barley.

In the reporting period of 2012/13 MY the volume of exports of oilseeds totaled 2.2 mln tonnes.

In February, Ukraine supplied 1.1 mln tonnes of grains and 242.1 thsd tonnes of oilseeds on foreign markets.
