Ukraine planted early spring crops throughout nearly 34 thsd ha - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, agrarians already planted early spring crops throughout the areas of nearly 34 thsd ha, including 30 thsd ha – in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, 4 thsd ha - in Nikolayev and Kherson oblasts, declared the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on February 26.

According to the announcement, agricultural producers in other regions are finalizing preparation of seeds, purchasing of fertilizers and fuel. Also, 90% of agrarians are already provided with mineral fertilizers.

Besides, due to favorable weather conditions, in some regions agricultural producers already provided additional fertilizing throughout 983.7 thsd ha of winter crops, or 12% of the forecast.
