In summer-autumn of 2013 maize prices may reach 200 USD/t - State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine
According to the optimistic forecasts, the cost of maize in the summer and autumn of 2013 will total nearly 200 USD/t at linear elevator EXW, declared Robert Brovdi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine”, on February 28.
Besides, he noted that the estimated grain harvest in 2013 may exceed the level of 45 mln tonnes. In the terms of such harvest volumes, Ukraine may supply nearly 17-18 mln tonnes of maize on foreign markets.
