Ukraine may resume exports of wheat in April 2013 – Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation
Having the significant carry-over stocks of grain, Ukraine may resume the active exports of wheat in April 2013, declared Leonid Kozachenko, President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, on February 28.
According to him, Ukraine may supply additional 2 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets in the nearest months.
According to the president of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, to date the stocks of grains in Ukraine total over 10 mln tonnes, almost double compared with last year.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as of February 27, Ukraine already supplied nearly 18 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, including 6.1 mln tonnes of wheat.
