In 2013 Ukraine to supply 4 mln tonnes of maize to China – State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine
In 2013 Ukraine will export 4 mln tonnes of maize of the harvest-2012 to China, within frames of the credit agreement with the Chinese company "ExImBank", declared Robert Brovdi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine”, on February 28.
He reminded that State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine received the first tranche of the credit from "ExImBank" at the level of 1.5 bln USD, which will be used for spot and forward purchases of grains for the further exports to China.
As for the plans of grain supplies to China in the coming years, R.Brovdi noted that the volumes will depend on the success of grain selling in the current year.
