In January Russia exported nearly 194 thsd tonnes of wheat – Federal Customs Service
In January 2013 Russia exported 193.9 thsd tonnes of wheat at the general sum of 65.7 mln USD, declared the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation on March 11.
According to the announcement, most of the grain volumes was delivered to far abroad foreign countries - 158.7 thsd tonnes (52.4 mln USD). In January 2013 the share of the CIS countries covered 35.1 thsd tonnes (13.3 mln USD) of the exported Russian wheat.
As for the import supplies of grains, then in January 2013 Russia imported 2 thsd tonnes of wheat, 8.8 thsd tonnes of barley and 4.4 thsd tonnes of maize.
