Ukraine planted early spring grains throughout 410 thsd ha – N.Prysyazhnyuk

As of March 11, 2013, Ukrainian agrarians planted early spring grains throughout the areas of 410 thsd ha, stated Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to him, agrarians still continue the spring field works in Kherson, Nikolayev, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk oblasts, the Crimea already planted the planned volumes of spring crops (85 thsd ha).

Besides, according to N.Prysyazhnyuk, agrarians provided additional feeding of winter grain areas throughout 448.5 thsd ha.
