In 2012/13 MY Ukraine to take the 7th position in the global grain exports – Ukrainian Grain Association
In 2012/13 MY Ukraine may take the 7th position on the market of world grain exporters, supplying 22 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, declared Vladimir Klimenko, President of Ukrainian Grain Association, on March 13.
According to the expert, the country takes the 10th position in the world on grain production.
He also believes that in 2012/13 MY Ukraine takes the ninth position on the production and exports of wheat, for barley - the fifth position on the production, and the fourth - on exports, for maize – the 7th and 14th positions, respectively.
As a reminder, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, in the current MY Ukraine will supply 23 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
