Ukraine: Crimea completed the planting campaign of early grains

The Autonomous Republic of Crimea completed the planting campaign of early grains, declared Nikolai Polyushkin, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Crimea, on March 18.

According to him, the planted areas totaled 91 thsd ha, or 103% of the plan.

N.Polyushkin added that the precipitations, which occurred in the Crimea in March significantly increased the moisture content in the soil and improved the condition of winter crops.
