Ukraine: since the beginning of the current MY the volume of grain exports exceeded 18.7 mln tonnes - Ministry of Agrarian Policy

Since the beginning of the season (July 1, 2012), and as of March 17, 2013, the volume of grain exports from Ukraine totaled 18.72 mln tonnes, an increase of 4.3 mln tonnes compared with the same period of the previous MY, announced the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on March 18.

In particular, since the beginning of 2012/13 MY Ukraine exported 6.22 mln tonnes of wheat (including 5.33 mln tonnes - of milling wheat), 10.14 mln tonnes of maize and 2.04 mln tonnes of barley.

Since the beginning of the current month, the volume of grain exports from the country totaled 921 thsd tonnes, including 860.7 thsd tonnes of maize, 45.9 thsd tonnes of maize, 14 thsd tonnes of barley.
