Ukraine: in January-February the volume of agricultural production increased by 5.8% - State Statistics Service
In January-February of 2013 Ukraine increased production volumes of agricultural commodities by 5.8% compared with the same index in 2012, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on March 15.
According to the announcement, in the reporting period growing of the specified index in the agricultural enterprises totaled 10.4%, in households of the population - 1.4%.
Also, during two months of 2013 Ukrainian agrarian enterprises increased the selling volumes of all types of agricultural commodities by 1%. In particular, the selling volume of plant growing commodities decreased by 3%.
