In February 2013 Ukraine exported 40.6 thsd tonnes of wheat bran

According to the official statistics, in February 2013 Ukraine exported 40.6 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (up 24% per month), which became the maximum index for the current marketing year. The entire amount was delivered to Turkey.

Since the beginning of 2012/13 MY (July-February), the export trading of wheat bran from Ukraine totaled nearly 285 thsd tonnes, against 225 thsd tonnes in the same period of 2011/12 MY. Turkey became the main buyer of wheat bran for the period, and purchased 83% of the general volume (as opposed to 56% in the previous year). Also, the list of importers of the products included Morocco (11%) and the group of four countries - Egypt, Syria, Panama and Israel, each of which purchased nearly 1% of the export volume of Ukrainian wheat bran.
