Ukraine: as of March 21, agrarians planted spring grains throughout 647 thsd ha

As of March 21, in Ukraine agrarians planted early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 647.2 thsd ha, or 22% of the forecast, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, the planted areas of barley totaled 539.6 thsd ha, wheat - 4.5 thsd ha, oats - 19.8 thsd ha, peas - 76.7 thsd ha.

To date, agrarians provide the planting campaign of spring crops in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Nikolayev, Odessa and Kherson oblasts, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

At the same time, the Crimea already provided spring planting campaign throughout 107%, Kherson and Odessa oblasts - 96% and 91%, respectively.
